The group loves to share information and learn new skills for sewing, quilting and craft projects.

During the last two years one of the emphasis of the Sunshine Needlers (formerly the Arts & Crafts Club) was to learn more about quilting and then to actually make a quilt,
with the more experienced quilters helping and teaching other members. That quilt was offered for raffle at the Ridgeway Spring Picnic on March 21.
The quilt is a double bed size, all hand-quilted, with nine different colorful fabrics. At least 10 members had a hand in the quilting and sewing.
You can get tickets at the picnic itself, or you can contact Sylvia Wevers (772-545-2523). Tickets are one dollar for one ticket,
or five dollars for six tickets. All profits will be donated to the RPOA. You do not have to be present at the time of the raffle.
