Two dedicated committee members arrive early on Saturday morning, March 17th, 2007 to finish the decorations for the St. Patrick’s Dinner Dance that evening.
Just prior to the doors opening at 5:30 PM, the kitchen staff readies the corned beef and cabbage, while the wait staff arranges the bread and condiments for the tables.
Waiting outside, diners get a “preview” of the meal as good odors escape from the open door of the kitchen. Once inside the anticipation continues to mount.
As you entered there was a lady to check off your name from the seating list, and a gentleman to sell you a strip of 50/50 tickets. Two other volunteers for the evening.
A sea of green was visible all night on the dance floor. Lots of other couples can be seen by “clicking on” the link above.
EVERYONE is Irish on St. Patty’s Day! “Entertainment for Fun Loving Adults” was provided by Ed Shoemaker and vocalist Carol Ann Paton.
