We are a neighborhood watch group. Our members patrol the subdivision in a car and report back periodically to another member in their home. We check the club house to make sure doors are secure and all lights and locks are secure. If any problems occur beyond our control, the Martin County Sheriff's Office is contacted. We have a very low incidence rate of needing their services.
To increase efficiency, more than half of the members patrolling now are using cell phones instead of CB radios.
